The Rhode to The Rest of Our Lives: Bling me Up

My birthday was the Sunday before the wedding.  To celebrate, we went out to dinner at The Capital Grille and had an absolutely delicious meal.  While we were out to dinner, my family presented me with a gorgeous set of jewelry that they asked me to wear on my wedding day.

Both the necklace and bracelet are white gold and white sapphires, and they match nicely with the earrings that my sister gave me a few years ago, and that I already talked about wearing on my wedding day.

After putting on the dress, it was time to start putting on the accessories.  First, I put in my earrings.  I had been having problems with the hole in one of my ears all week, so I was hopeful that it wouldn't give me any problems on the wedding day.  The last thing I needed was a bleeding ear throbbing all day!

My sister helped me clasp the necklace that they gifted me, and then made sure that it was centered and laid right on my chest.

My mom helped me put on the bracelet, which was technically from my grandmother.  Since I normally have hair elastics on my right hand wrist, I figured that it would work best on that hand.

The last thing to do was put on my shoes, my belt, and one last bit of makeup to finish my look!

Were you gifted any jewelry for your wedding day?
