The Rhode to The Rest of Our Lives: Fire and Cameras

One last surprise that we had for our friends and family was a sparkler exit from the reception.  RI changed their laws a few years ago to make sparklers legal, so knowing that I would be able to have this for our wedding was perfect.  It was something that I had always wanted, and I am so happy that we decided to do it!

D and I hung out in the reception space while everyone that was left got setup outside, and then we got the queue from the coordinator that we could make our way through the tunnel that our guests had made.

Despite the slight photo bomb from D's dad and Macy's, this is one of my absolute favorite pictures from the night.

And with that exit from the venue, our wedding was officially over.

These are the end of the professional photos that we have from the day.  We had originally planned on asking the photographers to follow us to Waterfire, but it was already 11:30 when we were leaving the venue, and they had been with us for 12 hours already.

So, we sent them on their way, and headed out ourselves.  We still had that one stop to go though, so stay tuned.
