The Rhode to The Rest of Our Lives: Second Introduction

With the cocktail hour wrapped up, and all our guests in the reception space, we were finally ready for our introduction.  Most brides introduce their entire wedding parties, but we didn't want to do that. In fact, we didn't even want a big introduction for ourselves, but our DJs thought it would be a good transition from the cocktail hour to the reception.

While we were meeting with them, we were throwing out ideas for music, and ironically, we didn't choose a single song that I had talked about previously.  Crazy how music tastes and wants choose over just a few months!  Since I had chosen some most of the other songs, I gave D a free choice on this one, promising him that I wouldn't give any input.

Surprise, surprise when he chose "Rollout" by Ludacris!

We decided not to tell anyone our choice, and I wish I could have captured the laughs and smiles on our guests faces when they saw us enter the reception to that song.  I'm pretty sure my dad and my sister ran across the room to each other to high five!

We walked over towards the center of the room to the area we designated as the dance floor, preparing for our first dance.

And with the applause dying down and the music transitioning to the song we chose for our first dance, a sweet kiss brought us together for the most romantic four minutes of my life.

Did you have your entire bridal party introduced into your reception, or did you decide just to have you and your spouse introduced?
